A Clinical Decision Support System for insulin dose titration in hospitalised adult patients with diabetes mellitus or new-onset hospital hyperglycaemia. The device is intended for use by trained nursing and clinical staff under mandatory physician oversight. For Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus, each recommendation is individually authorised by the treating physician. For Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and new-onset hyperglycaemia, the physician authorises the daily insulin plan and the device applies real-time adjustments within those authorised parameters at each subsequent dosing time point.
